IT Rescue is a forward-thinking and proactive IT support and management company supporting a portfolio of clients across all aspects of their IT infrastructure, although when the company was conceived, we were heading in a very different direction.

In 2002, the business was started as a creative agency called XP Design. We were primarily a web development business and we built hundreds of websites for all types of businesses and organisations under an EU funded programme where clients benefited from a free three-page website and IT training. As a result of that, many of the business owners were awarded an NVQ qualification in IT known as ITQ.

Since we were combining web development with IT training, something had to give and eventually, client demand dictated a change of focus and we started to concentrate solely, from around 2004, on IT support and IT solutions in London and the South East.
Initially, our ‘break and fix’ approach worked well, but as we started to grow and increase our client base and sphere of operation, we moved into Managed Services and Support where today, IT Rescue has become a byword for honest, reliable and cost-effective managed IT services to SMEs.

Our small but eminently capable team of technicians and engineers now service dozens of clients across our key sectors of Legal, Financial, Recruitment, Retail, Hospitality, Creative and Events and our corporate ethos is grounded on offering tailored, future-proofed solutions to suit each client rather than an ‘off the shelf’ answer.

Managing Director Richard Grycz is a seasoned IT professional, qualifying with an HNC in Computer Networks and Information Technology followed by a BA in Business. His professional IT qualifications include being an attendee at the Cisco Academy and gaining certification from Microsoft.
